This free event will feature crafts, games, guided nature walks, scavenger hunts, a pollination station, nature story times with Hillsboro Library, & more!
PLUS: Meet Manuel Regalado, the local artist behind Guendanabani, a sculptural carving created on a 15-foot ash tree along the river trail. Inspired by the wetlands, the carving features animals found throughout Jackson Bottom. The title Guendanabani comes from Manuel’s first language, Zapotec, and broadly translates to “the full force of life’s energy.”
Manuel will be at the event for a meet and greet from noon to 2 pm.
